Meet the Teacher

My name is Amy Smith.

I graduated from Temple University with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. 

There was no stopping there ... my Masters in Reading Education came shortly after! 
I have taught pre-k, kindergarten and first grade.

I have finally found my forever home in Kindergarten at the district I have been working with. I have served in many Long Term assignments and am happy to finally have a room to my own and district to call home!

I love my summers by the lake, family, friends, traveling, and exploring new places in all forms of transportation.
 I love trying new things and finding new hobbies.
Music is my feel good fix all solution - I like a little of everything and will get up and dance to it all.  

I am a lifelong learner of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority where I also advise at a local university.
I love inspiring others to be the best they can be!
